THIS HURRICANE SEASON - DONATE TO THE RED CROSS

Click HERE to see a VIDEO about Red Cross response to Hurricanes.

When people are struck by a disaster – whether it’s a national disaster such as a hurricane, a tornado that devastates a community, or a house fire that drives a family from its home, the Red Cross is there.

But now the Red Cross is seeking help so it can be more ready to respond to disaster throughout our community, our state, the U.S. and the world.

With a very active hurricane season predicted, the Red Cross is making a fundraising push now so that we are ready for the thousands of disasters that occur every year in the U.S.

Here in New Hampshire, the Red Cross has responded to home fires, floods, ice storms, power outages, and even a tornado in the last few years.

People can click, text or call to donate to the Red Cross to help people affected by disasters at home and around the world. Those who want to make a contribution can visit www.redcross.org, call 1-800-REDCROSS to support American Red Cross Disaster Response, or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Every single donation brings hope to those in need.

THANK YOU!

Leadership When It Really Counts

Forty-three towns and three cities in both New Hampshire and Southern Maine look to the American Red Cross-Great Bay Chapter for leadership in responding to emergency, training, and assistance needs for their citizens.  We also serve the needs of the State's reserve, active and retired military at Pease International Tradeport and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

The famed "e-Coast" is a vibrant mix of emerging technology companies, the tourist industry, quaint seacoast villages and towns, and the traditional service businesses and arts community that give the Great Bay Chapter a constant input of creativity, humanity, and personalities.  As a four-season business and resort area along New Hampshire's coastline, we are constantly ready to respond, train, or serve 365 days a year.

The American Red Cross is available to help all NH residents. From remote rural communities, to small towns, to large cities, Red Cross volunteers and staff are available 24/7 to help individuals, families and communities prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters and other life-threatening emergencies.
